What is Code 95
Code 95 is confirmation of a driver's professional qualification, required for commercial work in freight and passenger transport in European Union countries. It applies to professional drivers with categories C, C+E and D.
In Poland, the qualification is confirmed by a 95 entry on the driving licence or by a Karta Kwalifikacji Kierowcy, depending on the driver's documents and situation. The process can be completed in Warsaw: preparing the documents, completing the required training, medical examination and psychological test.
For category C / C+E, the type of course depends on when the category was obtained: if it was obtained before 09.09.2009, the short course (periodic training) usually applies; if it was obtained later, the long course is required. Requirements for category D are checked separately.
